I’m glad I took the drive up from Camp LeJeune to Norfolk here because I would have never known about this Helmets to Hardhats program. So, I thought it would be worth the drive (from Florida) to come up here and see if settling in the Norfolk area will work out as far as getting a job goes. I also thought seriously about going back to school, but not sure yet. The new GI Bill is enticing to go back to school, but right now I really need steady employment. I talked with some of the schools you have here and it was a good idea to have them. They gave me something to think about, and perhaps I can find part time employment and use my GI Bill. So, I have a few options to look over. I will go to your event in Virginia Beach on Thursday and see what other companies are there. I’m looking mostly for something in supply and logistics.”— USMC Sgt
“I found some good contacts as well as good tips while talking with General Dynamics and Northrop Grumman. I know that I probably will need to go back to school to obtain my FCC and A&P certification to help me in enhancing my employment opportunities. I guess that means I better take advantage of my GI Bill now.”— SFC, US Army
“I talked with Limestone College who has an interest for instructors as I have my BA degree already, and also received some good contact information with Northrop Grumman, FedEx and Helmets to Hardhats.
